About Dr. Gregory Cox

Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Cox attended Rutgers University, graduating summa cum laude. He then attended the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia on a merit scholarship, graduating among the top five members of his class. Dr. Cox pursued an ophthalmology residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, where he also served as the department of ophthalmology's chief resident from 1994 to 1995. 


Dr. Cox completed a formal cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the prestigious Anheuser-Busch Eye Institute at St. Louis University. His training emphasized cornea transplantation, radial/astigmatic keratotomy, and laser vision correction. He also participated in the FDA trial leading to the approval of Intacs® corneal rings. 


Dr. Cox provides personal consultations, and eye exams for all of his patients. He thoroughly explains all of the available treatment options and answers any questions you may have so that you can make informed decisions about your eye care. He enjoys educating his patients about all of their laser vision correction procedures so that they can benefit from these innovative treatments.
